FanCurve Mac privacy

FanCurve Mac is a local hardware utility. The current app does not include an ad SDK, user tracking SDK, account system, personal profile collection, donation flow, or payment flow.

Local information used by the app

• Temperature sensor and fan RPM status
• User-configured fan curves and language settings
• Login item preference
• HTTPS update manifest checks in distribution builds

Storage

Fan curve and language settings are stored in the local macOS user defaults store. Recent temperature distribution samples are kept in memory while the app is running.

Network use

The core app focuses on local hardware control. Distribution builds may request the HTTPS update manifest URL to check the latest version. The app does not use HTTP update URLs.
